Recommendations

Disclaimer: Open/Closed recommendations are updated semiannually.

We recommend that the Office of Safety and Security, in conjunction with the Office of General Counsel, determine whether, similar to country directors, the regional security officers should be notified of rape and sexual assault incidents involving Volunteers and provided with the same non-personally identifying information about the incident, and that the agency revise its policies accordingly.

We recommend that the Office of Safety and Security develop a formal process that annually gathers input from safety and security managers on training needs.
