We recommend that the Chief Information Officer ensure all Office of the Chief Information Officerpersonnel assigned as contracting officer’s technical representatives are properlytrained and are fulfilling the required responsibilities.

We recommend that the Chief Information Officer, in conjunction with the Director of Personnel Management, review the Office of the Chief Information Officer organizational structure and positions to determine the most efficient alignment. Based on the review identify whether vacancies require filled or should be realigned to other positions or offices.

We recommend that the Peace Corps Director consider realigning all headquarters informationtechnology personnel positions to the Chief Information Officer reporting chain orrequiring the Chief Information Officer provide input for a performance elementconcerning in
