We recommend that the Peace Corps Director, in conjunction with the Chief Information Officer, develop an IRM strategic plan that identifies the agency’s long-term IT goals, describes how IT supports all Information Resource Management, and connects IT initiatives to the Peace Corps mission

We recommend that the Chief Information Officer update the enterprise architecture to reflect thecurrent IT environment.

We recommend that the Chief Information Officer develop an enterprise architecture roadmap thatsupports how the agency’s IT initiatives will support the IRM strategic plan.

We recommend that the Chief Information Officer develop a Peace Corps manual section to describethe information technology governance process, to include the various review boardsand their functions.

We recommend that the Chief Information Officer update the system development life cyclehandbook to discuss the current information technology life cycle andrequired documentation.
