We recommend that the country director and the director of management and operations ensure sub-cashier cash counts are performed per Peace Corps policy.

We recommend that the director of management and operations monitor sub-cashier activity and instruct the sub-cashier to refrain from using personal funds for business purposes by obtaining timely replenishment of funds from the cashier.

We recommend that the country director ensure the Peace Corps medical officer order medical supplies in a timely manner from approved vendors and record all purchases in the medical inventory system.

We recommend that the director of management and operations and the Peace Corps medical officer minimize use of sub-cashier advances for medical purchases.
